Evan Okun

This poster was a pro bono job for an organization in Ithaca, New York that specializes in creating different soils for better crop growth. They hold multiple events each month, and this poster specifically was for a collaboration between two artists. I wanted to reflect my interpretation of the work through this design without overpowering the artwork. I chose to use a jagged shape to surround the art, and some text to reflect the art being shown in the exhibition. I chose the typeface Franklin Gothic because I feel its not as balanced as other sans serif  typefaces like helvetica, and because of this it is similar to the art being shown.
